Business Boost Grants Program
A new round of the Business Boost Grants is coming up for Queensland businesses.
This opportunity is a great way for businesses to receive financial assistance for projects that will improve efficiencies and productivity.
This support includes funded activities in 3 project areas:
- Future planning
- Specialised and automated software

Businesses may be eligible to receive the grant payment of $15,000 (ex-GST) upon project completion. In addition, successful applicants must contribute at least 30% of the total project costs.
Your project can have a minimum cost of $10,715 (ex-GST), which means your contribution would be $3,215, and the grant funding that would come in post-project would be $7,500.
Maximum project costs can be $21,429 (ex-GST), with your contribution of $6,429 means the grant you’d receive post project would be $15,000*.
*Your project can cost more than $21,429 but the maximum amount DESBT will contribute is $15,000.
To work out your project costs, contribution and grant funding, the Business Boost Grants website has a calculator to help you work things out. (https://www.business.qld.gov.au/starting-business/advice-support/grants/business-boost)
